Thank you, everyone who responds respectfully to my posts. I learn an incredible amount from you; I feel like I have a broad community challenging me, encouraging me, and giving me perspectives I'd never think about on my own.

I have no idea if Covid was a "plandemic" or a magician's diversion to keep rotten governments in power and in fact gain power, or if it was a genuine mutation surprise, but it created several wonderful disruptions. Perhaps the most important one is the work-at-home revolution.

My co-author of BEYOND LABELS, Sina, sent me an interesting missive this morning following an exchange we had about 5G. Apparently the USDA is being lobbied by big ag for a $5 billion 5G rollout to get every farm up to speed for the internet of things on the farm: how many steps does cow #55 take a day, you know, stuff like that. Or how much chlorophyll is soybean plant number 5,667, 793, 224,002 utilizing?

Now that Polyface Designs is out, I'm ready to start thinking about the next project. I'm struck by the homestead movement expansion. Covid has certainly expanded it due to food security issues…

Sometimes circumstances converge in delightful ways. One of my favorite organizations is the Weston A Price Foundation (WAPF) founded by the indomitable Sally Fallon Morrell. Based on the work of dentist Weston A. Price who traveled the world searching for the secret to health, WAPF promotes traditional eating and farming.

The day after an election, we still don't know who won, and in the end it's all about trust, isn't it? Who is more trustworthy to protect freedom, keep the government out of my life, protect the minority view from being stifled.

As the world stops today in hushed anticipation of the U.S. election outcomes, it occurred to me this morning that the earthworms I carefully brushed off the pieces of firewood at the bottom of the woodpile have no clue about this momentous occasion and go right on about their activities as though it's the least thing in the world to worry about.

You've no doubt heard the hoopla about Crispr gene-editing technology that has promised to do everything but drink your coffee for you. The promises are identical to the ones that accompanied the genetically modified organisms (GMOs).

Wow, just wow. Who could have known that POLYFACE DESIGNS would create such a stir? Well, as Ray Stevens would say, "It did." First, thank you all for such a rousing reception. In my wildest dreams I was hoping we'd sell 1,000 by Christmas to help defray initial printing costs and bring us close to even before year's end. How could we have known that the entire first printing of 5,000 would sell in less than a week?
