EXCITING TRENDS
Calamity generally does not create new trends; it simply clarifies or accelerates current trajectories. With that in mind, here are things we're seeing at Polyface that are interesting…
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
Wow, what a week. This fast-moving pandemic is yielding new information by the day. Here are highlights from what I've seen:
ARTICLE 1, BILL OF RIGHTS
The first 10 amendments to the U.S. Constitution, known as the Bill of Rights, were enacted December 15, 1791 as a precondition to procure several state signatures to the overall document.
CLEARING THE AIR
The Musings of the Lunatic Farmer do not necessarily reflect the views and policies of Polyface Farm; they are meant to stimulate unorthodox thinking especially in the arena of preserving liberty.
The "I Want the Coronavirus" post from March 16 has exposed some weaknesses both in me and in this blog and its expectations, so let me deal with things one point at a time.
THE FARM: A HAVEN OF NORMALCY
As we conclude this wild coronavirus week, let's remember how many things are completely stable and normal in this uncertain time.
MORE CORONAVIRUS FALLOUT
I have a fairly extensive speaking schedule around the world, and today it began to really collapse. I can see things in April postponing, but one postponed that was scheduled for Oct. 24. Really? Does anyone think we're going to be in this situation Oct. 24?
WHAT WE'RE LEARNING
If the coronavirus changes protocols in our culture, it will have been well worth it. Time will tell. What is the coronavirus teaching us?
CORONAVIRUS MO
Can you spare another few minutes of coronavirus chatter? The Wall Street Journal yesterday carried an article about a New Jersey school teacher who took his class to Italy and contracted the coronavirus and almost died. His story is terrifying and his warnings dire.
CASH APP FOR HEALTH CARE
The Freedom Hub is dedicated to all liberty-minded options in health. I was a guest on their program last year. On an upcoming program, they will highlight the work of Jawad Arshad, an emergency room doctor who got so fed up with health care bureaucracy that he finally developed a Health Cash Market app.
